Choose the format that best fits your playing style
The classic poker format. Two cards in hand, five community cards on the board — you build the best five-card combination. The most popular variant in the world and the top choice among Brazilian players on 959bet.
Four hole cards instead of two — Omaha is more action-packed than Hold'em and tends to build bigger pots. In Hi-Lo, the pot is split between the best high hand and the best qualifying low hand, creating unique strategic layers.
Short Deck — cards 2 through 5 removed. With only 36 cards in the deck, the odds shift completely and strong hands come up far more often. It's a faster game packed with intense action from start to finish.
Casino Hold'em and Ultimate Texas Hold'em live with real HD dealers. You play against the house, not other players — great for anyone looking to learn the pace of the game or who prefers a different dynamic from tournaments.
Live lobby — tables available for immediate entry
Full MTT and SNG schedule with real guaranteed prize pools
From Royal Flush to high card — all ten hands ranked by strength
From sign-up to first hand, the whole process takes under 5 minutes

Six concepts that make a real difference in your first sessions
Poker has grown enormously in Brazil in recent years, and it's no coincidence. Brazilians bring an unusual combination of skills to the table: reading opponents, handling pressure, and making fast decisions — all qualities that translate directly into strong poker play. Today, Brazilian players are among the most feared on the international circuit, and 959bet offers a platform that matches that level of competition.
Texas Hold'em is the most popular format on the platform and probably the one you already know in some form — whether from watching the WSOP on TV, live tournaments streamed on YouTube, or home games with friends. The difference at 959bet is that the environment is professional, the software is stable, and you can join or leave tables whenever you want, without waiting for a hand to finish or answering to anyone.
Cash game tables run 24 hours a day, with limits to suit everyone from players looking to buy in for R$ 10.00 to those chasing higher-stakes action. The beauty of cash games is exactly the flexibility: you sit down with an amount, play as long as you want, and leave with whatever is in your stack. No clock, no escalating blind structure — just pure poker.
MTT tournaments are a different beast. You pay a fixed buy-in, receive a chip stack, and compete against dozens or hundreds of players until the end. The 959bet Sunday Special, with a BRL 5,000.00 guarantee and a R$ 25.00 buy-in, is one of the most anticipated events of the week. The buy-in-to-guarantee ratio is excellent — and the chance to turn R$ 25.00 into a few hundred BRL on a Sunday afternoon is very real.
If you're still learning, the daily freerolls are the best place to start. These are completely free tournaments open to all registered 959bet members, with real-money prizes on the line. There's no financial risk, but you still feel the pressure of a real tournament — which speeds up your learning considerably. Many of the platform's regular players started exactly this way.
PKO (Progressive Knockout) tournaments are another popular format. In these, part of the buy-in goes into an elimination pot — every time you knock out an opponent, you immediately receive a portion of their bounty. This shifts your tournament strategy, rewards aggressive play, and makes every elimination more worthwhile. The 959bet Nightly Turbo Knockout is a prime example, with a R$ 15.00 buy-in and a R$ 7.50 bounty per elimination.
Omaha Hi-Lo is for players who already have experience with Hold'em and want to explore a more complex variant. With four hole cards instead of two, the range of possible hands is far greater — and the "Hi-Lo" element adds an interesting strategic layer: you can win half the pot with the best qualifying low hand. 959bet offers Omaha at cash tables with blinds starting at R$ 0.50/R$ 1.00.
